Well, it's the dead of winter and all I'm waiting for is the month of May so I can continue what I enjoy most, prowling the nights in search of mega flatheads.

All the river can offer me are walleyes.

Here's a fat female with eggs from tonight.

Hopefully I can give more and better reports in 08!

The nice weather allowed me to get back out. My 3 friends and I landed 6 nice stripers. Here's the one I got. The river is starting to awaken, but I think with this horrible cold weather, they will be back sleeping again.

Nice catch Blacky thanks for keeping us posted. Yeah the weather took a dive for the worse this week. I guess back to reality it is February after all. Keep our fingers crossed for a nice March. My buddy was begging me to go out for just a bit this passed weekend but I passed up on it. Never had success in the winter months.

Probably lures. That's what I see most of the guys using down near the Art Museum.

Ive been eying that bridge for a long, long, long, time too. Just during the summer time, the homeless like to make the bridge their summer home. I might try there in early April into May, they don't show up until June.
