Well we didnt see too many pitches tossed our way last night but we did connect on every one we saw....i love it when that happens. I headed out to fill the bucket around 5:30 and met John down at the ramp around 7:30 armed with a full bucket of decent baits....about a dozen chubs and a dozen+ sunnies. I would like to tell you we used all the baits up.....but thats not the case. We set up and fought the grass all night....still lots of junk coming down the river but we did manage 3 fish. First bite was on a stomper chub....gave him a 10 count on the runoff and crossed his eyes, decent channel cat. The second bite of the night was on a stomper too....but this one walloped it and snapped the line from the clothes pin and after a 10 count crossed the eyes of an average flathead around 14 lbs.....good job on untangling the lines and clearing the road John. The last bite was on a chub again and ended up being a spunky channel cat that thought he was bigger than he really was....but well take it. So three bites, the fish landed and another good time out on the water with john.....Thanks for getting me out again dude.
