    ok i live in colerain... does the great miami river near new baltimore
    have those fish if so... shall i use a fireball jig
    if this don't belong here can someone put it in the right thread

    Yes the gmr has sauger in that area ive seen guys catch them before.

    Plenty of saugeye and walleye, saugers come up occasionally. 1/8 to 1/4 ounce jigs with 3-inch twister tails fished to just barely crawl along the rocks. You're more likely to get smallies in the heat of summer. Fish eye's in late fall to late spring. Eggleston, Dravo, anywhere there's riffles. Take a lot of jigs and tails.

    dennis i have a purple mr twister i can use... since it's still very warm
    gonna wait til it cools off some, i survived a heatstroke in 02 don't want
    that again
