Going to Santee tomorrow for cats.
    Haven't been in awhile.
How has the "Bite" been lately?
Recommendations for Upper (Randolph's Area) or Lower Lake?
    Bait?
    Drifting or Anchoring?

    Your help is appreciated.

LOWER LAKE,LOWER LAKE, LOWER LAKE.... Go to the DAM in deep water with herring or shad. Canal Lakes has herring right now. Drifting worked great today.

    Thanks for the information.

Are you going all the way to the Pinopolis Dam?

I never drifted in that "deep"water around the dam (50'+).
Are you dragging the bottom with the bait or at what depth are you setting the bait?

Drifting if the wind allows you to is working.Fishing with rigs on the bottom.

Caught about 60#'s today. Lost a few more.
Most caught between 52' & 47' of water.
Slow day overall, but a good one for me.
Most fish caught in about an hour this afternoon.

    Thanks for the information.
