Fished the canal out of Hill's last night-Only caught 2 blues(17,15)and 1 channel(8)threw back a little Flathead-lost a good fish due to the leader breaking(thanks goes out to the 3 gars we hooked for that). They was only biting small middle sections of perch.---always change your leader when a gar bites/runs.Lesson learned.

I agree with the cats not biting.

I fished yesterday on Russelville flats on lake Moultrie and only caught five small one 2 to 5 lbs.

I was drifting using cut herring.

Sorry about you loosing the big one.

    Thanks for the report

Sounds like you did well. I was in the canal on the 14th (front came through and water too rough) and caught only 1 small blue.
