Took a trip out to Lake Moultrie Saturday May 3rd. Started fishing at 3:00 pm with blue herring. Drift fishing between .5 and .7 mph, planer boards with the rig out around 225 feet drift behind vessel. Around 6:30 pm we changed to cut shad and fishing lit up. Caught several 7 - 12 pounders. At 9:30 pm we landed a 31 pound blue. Earlier that day a 48 pounder was landed in the same area.

Lake is back to normal water levels, surface temp was around 67 - 69 degrees.
