Saluda River

    Has anybody been fishing the saluda around souls harbor lately

    Neal, I fish that part of the river alot, but I have'nt been since deer season opened. I almost always have good luck with the channel cats, and have caught several nice flatheads, but like I said it's been a while since I have been down there. Your best bet would probally be shrimp and cut bait for the channels, and it would'nt hurt to put a live bream or two out for the flatheads. Good luck if you go, and let us know how you do.

    I fish there alot to but have not been since deer season but thinking about going sat. nite. Went about 3 months ago and caught 2 flatheads, 43lbs and 29lbs and 12 channels 5-10lb range.

    Is Souls Harbor near Blacks Bridge?? where the 2 rivers meet??

    Souls harbor is in greenwood sc on ridge rd where it enters lake greenwood
