Well I have definately decided to fish this river alot since talking to an older gentleman fishing there the other day. He wasnt there 5 minutes and was already getting bites. He shared alot of info with me to help me out. The kicker is the gas prices, so since I can get there in minutes, that's where I will be. One question however, how safe are the fish to eat?

I used to live in Easley near Greenville. I fished the Saluda some and did eat my catches. 15 years later and I'm still alive and healthy so take that for what its worth.
