Pretty much the same as any catfish lake in the state. channels and flatties. typical setups would be bottom or floats. baits would be anything from bluegill to goldfish to carp..........anything for bait is what I'm getting at.
If you are fishing from shore, you have just as good a shot as those from boat. A majority of the guys from boat just use the boat to reach their bank spot. Most of the largest cats caught int he lake are caught from shore from spots you can get to from the road. Take the road that goes through the park and pretty much anywhere that looks like it could be good is. Of course any given night will be better or worse than others, but really aren't too many places you can go wrong as far as potential goes.
