finally, we are trying to get to the salt this weekend. i've heard to many good things about that river. i really really need some help though. being a newbie to the river i have no idea where to fish. i have heard that right under the superstition dam was good. i went online but couldn't find anything about it. i have also heard up river from roosevelt lake is good also. i think it would be easier to go to roosevelt and just head up the river. if anyone can give me any advice, like where to camp and stuff, it would be greatly appreciated.

fishing from a boat. i think the trip might get pushed back till next weekend but i still am going. i really want to catch a big one, to end the long season of fishing, ............ not catching. :cry-big:

Head up the salt to the area of the diversion dam. If you have electronics on board use them on the way up and look for the deeper holes and then fish up river from them. i will defiantly try by that dam. it sound like a really hot area. we have a new Lowrance color fish finder. can't stop using the thing either.
