finally, we are trying to get to the salt this weekend. i've heard to many good things about that river. i really really need some help though. being a newbie to the river i have no idea where to fish. i have heard that right under the superstition dam was good. i went online but couldn't find anything about it. i have also heard up river from roosevelt lake is good also. i think it would be easier to go to roosevelt and just head up the river. if anyone can give me any advice, like where to camp and stuff, it would be greatly appreciated.

Head up the salt to the area of the diversion dam. If you have electronics on board use them on the way up and look for the deeper holes and then fish up river from them. Good luck and let us know how you did. I hope to make it back down there myself as soon as I can get away from work.....azcatman
