I am leaving for a week at salt fork this friday.

taking 2 of my grandkids. cananyone recommend spots to fish from shore?

we will get 1 day on the pontoon boat but all other fishing will be shore bound.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

    thanks

I just went there Thursday. MBill and I took the entrance off the Kimbolton exit off of I-77. We set up just across the way from the boat ramp. I caught a few bluegill for bait, but we didnt have much luck catching any cat there. I hope you have better luck than we did.

we also got to see some local wildlife.....a raccoon,a skunk and a fawn maybe a year old walked down by the water about 15 feet from my brother.i seen him jump and when i looked over it ran into the lake and swam off.didn't see a mommy with it.
