Went out to Salt Fork last Saturday night to try out some jugs I made. I meet up with Ramrod and his son on the lake. I had my son and my nephew with me so all I had to do was show them how I wanted the hooks baited and how to place them in the water then my job was to operate the boat and control the net. The first fish was a monster which the boys tried to pull up in the boat by the line which caused a 8/0 gamakatsu hook to straighten out. But they got the hang of waiting on me to get the net so we landed three more nice fish a 20.5 a 16.8 and a 15.4 plus a couple of channels.

I heard a couple of weeks ago, some guys were trolling for muskies and landed a 58lb flatty. Same day, I watched Memphis land one over 30lbs. I do plan on taking another trip out that way soon.

Glad to see that you're catching the fish, and you're taking your son fishing, but it sure looks like "Catch and Release" may be in order for the next trip! That looks like a lot of flatties to be taking!!
I'm planning on fishing there a couple of nights next week. Hopefully I can do as well as you guys have done!!!
