Went to Salt Fork on Saturday. We caught a total of 23 cats from 7pm to 2am, nothing great but goooood eaters, some from the Marina and some from the northern part of the lake. I also caught a nasty ol' carp. hope these pics turn out. notice the laserations on the carp, both exactly the same on both sides of the fish, any ideas what caused it? im thinkin it got caught in a pipe or something like that?

Jeff, we were going to hit the Neocats tournement. but one guy had to work the next day and we wernt sure on the weather. They didnt want to pay to enter then get rained out. We will for sure enter a tournement this summer tho. Im thinkin maybe July 26th at Charles Mills and definatly Sept. 6th at Salt Fork.

A good storm came through before the tournament, but no rain after it started besides a little drizzle.

i fished salt fork the same night............but we targeted flatheads using live gills ..........one buddy of mine ended up landing a channel cat that was 4 lbs 8 oz on a 7 inch live bluegill...................i ended up having one good run at 130 in the morning on a live gill that i hooked into and it came off after a few cranks of the reel...........that fish felt huge wish i couldda landed him !!:sad2:\

CONGRATS on the channel cats !!
