Sailboat marina habitat for catfish?

    Can't hurt anything to try! I have caught a lot of fish from marina's.

    it's usually good around the marinas and docks here. you have alotta people out throwing food in the water and other things catfish might find appealing such as fish remains they eat/cleaned, etc

    A friend took his grand kids fishing on a private dock where Excursion boats were berthed. Turned out there was a striper guide using a slip there. He came in and cleaned his clients fish and walked down to the end and discarded the remains. It is technically illegal to chum with gamefish here in Texas. This has turned out to be a good fishing hole found by accident. You never know until you try a place. In this case I am sure the Bass fishermen work that dock but catfishermen probably never try it.

    I have caught alot of fish around marinas dock etc. I dont have a boat so i find all the strructure i can from the bank. Some produce and some dont but it would not hurt to try.
