S&W 686 stainless 8.375" counter weighted target pistol, had it drilled and mounted fixed power 2X Leupold. This is my new deer rifle. I have had this pistol for over 30 years, I have take several deer with it. I had to have a scope mounted to it so I could see what I was shooting at, my eyes are starting to go. My only complaint is that it has to be good and daylight before the scope will gather enough light to see through. It’s an awesome pistol to shoot. At 50 yards I can keep a 2” group. It’s easy to carry and packs a punch, just make sure it’s a broad side shot. I did lose a deer with a straight on shot. Oh yea, one more thing, I was holding the barrel to steady my shot and nearly blew my thumb off. No body parts in front of the cylinder!

S&W 686-Great wheel gun. The agency I work for carried the 686 4" for a duty gun until they went to semi-autos. Very few maintenance problems other than replacing rear sights. Any time you drop a S&W it seems to land on the rear sight.

Nice gun Stevie!

We got in some target practice last week while at the farm with our .357 Pythons. Had a bunch of DVD's that I had messed up. They make great targets. Even after being shot up the little pieces reflect the sunlight for more shooting. I've reloaded for many years. Believe those loads we shot were loaded over 20 years ago.
