Got the boys a small plastic boat for the pond yesterday and put it on the water today. Pond is very small, but so is the boat and the kids, so it works out. Here's pix of two budding fishermen on their maiden voyage in their new fishin' machine:big_smile:

Last I looked, one was paddling while the other had my bait net dragging in the water, trying to catch fish :smile2: I'm tellin' ya this is going to provide more hours of peace and quiet this summer for me than can be believed:wink:

Now you just need to start stocking the pond with smaller cats you catch on the river.

I bet they'll have a lot of fun...I need to have my parents get one of those for my little brother...he'd go crazy with that thing.

Wow, that is a awesome pic. When I was growing up we had a pond and a 12 foot jon boat that we paddled around with. We would catch crappie, bass, catfish and bluegills out of that boat. It is memories like that that I look back on as my foundest. I bet those boys wear that boat out in a hurry:wink:
