Had one before. Really liked it. There are a ton of extras that you could buy for it.

I've got one. Its a great little varmint gun. Thas about all i'd use mine for. Its short so it goes in the truck great.

The a plain mini 14 the scope is bolted on a slide on a plate if im not mistaken. The hull eject up and out instead of sideways like a ranch rifle.

I love mini 14's. I had a nice stainless one that was fixed up w/ lots of extras. If you have any Factory Ruger Mags that noone wants let me know. It cna be as small as the standard 5 round mag or as large as 40!

Right now I only have 1 mini 14 & thats a pre ban standard gun, nothing fancy...... YET! ;)

I like them pretty well.We used them when i worked in corrections, but in my opinion i dont like the .223 for a man stopper, its ok for varmints but to small a round for man.Sure it can kill you but more then likley wound you.But it is an accurate rifle.

That is a nice looking gun, what kind of range do you get out of a 223?

    Love to have one,and also a 10/22

Think those 2 have about the most accessories available out of all the guns made.

I have never shot a mini 14 but i have heard a lot about them. And we have both mini 14 and ar-15 at work. the only bad thing i have heard about the mini 14 is that you will burn the barrel out of them alot faster than you will an ar-15.
