Flats are starting to get stirred up finally, went out friday evening 1500 hrs to 2100 hrs, good bite started at 1630,caught 13 from 1630 to 200 0hrs. Live gills and cut bait. Sat same time frame on bits, Had grandson with me both nites, let him crank them in till he was wore out.I got me a good fishing parder now. He caught one 15 pounder on a gob of worms, his little zebco was smokin by the time we got it in.This was the biggest flat for both days, caught three channels 10 lbs,Going to go every nite if i can.The fall bites started.

Wife and I spent the day there! Lake is low enough to have some shore camping, however they still have spots like cholla bay blocked off,i will never understand that! So you will need a boat for best access! We caught some channels and small bass! The salt end is looking real good!!

She's way down from when you fished it last year.Flats are starting to get woke up on tonto end.Where you fished orange peel at about 20 ft h20,now is 8 and less.
