I recently bought an eagle claw surf beast and an 8ft cat claw rod for my boys to get them started. I was really impressed with this rig it cast great and has a bait click/alarm and good brakes/disc drag and it comes with a spool of 20lb line. The reel cost 23.95 and the rod cost 17.95 on www...................com. I highly recommend it to the person getting started. Good fishing everybody.
