Rod limit in Wisconsin

    Hi, just wondering...how many rods can each person have while cattin'

    wisconsin has a hook limit. you can use up to 3 hooks that would be able to catch 3 different fish (lures with more than one hook that are designed to catch only 1 fish count as 1 hook).

    essentially, using a single hook on each rod, you can use 3 rods, but if you use more than one hook per rod, then you can't use as many rods.

    3 rods with 1 hook each
    or
    1 rod with 2 hooks spaced out with 1 rod with 1 hook
    or
    1 rod with 3 hooks spaced out

    three baits in the water. doesn't matter if they are on one rod, or three rods.
