Rod Holders for 1" Rails?

    hey guys,
    I was lookin for a way to make some rod holders to go on the 1" rails on either side my boat. Thanks in advance for any ideas you have.

    do they have to go on the rail? i dunno what kind of boat you have, i have an alumninum boat, i simply blocked mine out using pieces of 2x4. from the sides just below the rail to give the swivel space needed for the holder. i bought side mounting bases, works pretty well. goodluck with your setup. rollo

    I know drift masters and bee readys both have round rail mounts. Both are very good rod holders.

    i saw the driftmasters but i cannot find anyone around here that has them in stock. I wanna see them before i buy.

    I am looking for new holders also, and I am having the same problem, I want to see them before I buy them

    If you want good strong rod holders go driftmaster.

    Driftmasters, there's a reason why there on more catfish boats then any other.
