Sorry if this has been posted before but I finally figured out how to get both my rods up in the air in rocky ground... see image. It is a bit dark and the river was very high and there were no normal rock holders around... then I put two and two together and found a big rock that I could balance the fold-seat and I put my rods into the seat as a holder. Even when I took one rod out, the other was fine and I gave fake "tugs" to see if the chair would move - it did not. Granted this will only work if you have a nice sturdy rock that fits its need, but for being so simple, I was pumped. I caught two channels, 6lb and 8lb that night but the water was so high, I did not even think I would get a bite. Free time = head to the river no matter what.
