I was wondering if any of you rocky water fishermen had any advice on not snagging when trying to fish. My friend and i recently found a great spot in some fast moving rocky water and the weights keep getting snagged and since we're on the bank we cant float the bait cuz itll just come back to us downshore any tips?

On rocks, I pretty much just expect to lose some lead. I just use lighter line for the weight, and drop it down a couple fo feet below the hook. Some use a 3-way swivel for this. I use an albright know to attatch the lighter line to the heavier line, and a dropper loop to attatch the swivel and hook to the main line. I use bank sinkers. I do lose some weights sometimes, but not as mush as you might think. I don't fish on rocks all that much either.

I would just rather use a slip float rig. Its to much work to be retieing every time u break off.
