After a couple of dull outings we managed to catch 5 catfish last night and lose a pole. The largest was a flathead that only weighed 13.4 lbs. But atleast they are biting. Both mine and my fathers 40 pound catfish have come on the sunday after the fourth of July. Thats just crazy, but I'll be out there again this year.

I've fished it all over from Wisconsin down to Oregon, but I mostly fish around Byron now cuz I live closer. Let me know how it goes

Got the boat in the water around 1:00 am...and fished until 7:00 am. We didn't hook into anything, used live gills and cut gills with no luck. It was pretty unpleasant weather until around 6:00 am, guess we should have stayed through the morning, but I was growing tired real fast!!
I'm trying to get out again mid-week, hopefully with better results!
