Anyone use 1/4 oz. Road runners with chart. curly tail for Walleye ? They are more expensive than ball head jigs, so are they worth the extra money and do they really out fish regular round head jigs ? -Thanks

I don't know about walleye, but I catch saugeye on them year round. Just cranking them slow enough to bump bottom once in awhile and not get hung up too much lol.

Use the heck out of them. Usually a little smaller like 1/16 sometimes use a curly tail sometimes a night crawler. I'm gonna try rigging them with a stinger hook this year and see if I can't get some more hookups and less bumps. We usually do a slow troll with these and then if we get some good hits we drop a marker and try some spoons and crankbaits, to see if there are more there that might be interested in something else.
