Rivercat

    I recently ordered a 12ft Rivercat rod made by wildcat.I havnt received it yet and was wondering if anyone owns or has ever used one.Any comments about the rod will be greatly appreciated.

    If we are talking about the same rod, which is yellow, I had one and ended up giving it away. The only reason it would not work for me was because I always bank fish in the river with a fairly strong current. I use 6oz flat banks with cut bait. The rivercat was not stout enough to handle that much weight. I like the light weight and looks of the rod. I a non current situation and using throwing 4oz or less, I think it would be great.

    I have never heard of a rivercat rod. but give us a report on how urs do.

    Or better Yet, tell the company to sponsor the BOC, and get the word out on his rods big-time.

    If it passes the muster, we will buy.

    I was checking out catfish connection, I found that what you got one, is it yellow rod???
