River fish vs. lake fish

    These channel cats weighed within a couple of ounces apart and were caught yesterday. Look how much longer and skinnier the river fish is.

    dude thats really odd. Maybe the river fish have to be skinnier to be able to swim easier in the current???:eek:oooh:

    I have caught them both fat and skinny in the river & in the lake.

    i think its just the luck of the draw,i think really it could have went either way.i wouldnt put to much thought into it.

    i don't think it has anything to do with where they lived just differences in the fish
