This is the area I will bwe doing my bank fishing from this summer. Would also like to run a trotline below the bridges if we can get a boat up to here. It is 4-5 miles upsteam from the boat ramp. Water is up at least 3 feet from normal this summer.

O yea this is Barren river at Bowling Green, Ky.

Keith, I went to college down in Bowling Green and fished Barren quite a bit a few years ago. Both the lake and river are full of big flatheads. Live bluegills worked for me near piles of downed trees. Good luck.

Only fished it a few times. Not much luck. Spent most of the time bluegill fishing. Plan on being a little more dedicated this year. Will be going to Barren Lake in a few weeks for a few days camping. Hope the cats are biting while we are there.
