River are low - easy to find other things to do

    Here are some pics of the turtle we caught by Sat. We were canoing when my neighbor jumped out of the boat, stepped on his back and grabbed him. They will probably move this but you can see my house river house in the background. We have jacked it up 5 feet so far. Only 2 more feet to go. No more flooding for me. Any blocklayers out there. I'll supply the beer, food and a good fishing trip.

    WOW!!! Jim, I've fished for snappers for years.My biggest one was 35#. That turtle is huge. How much did he weigh? If you hav'nt weighed him yet please
    do and let me know.Are you willing to say where he was caught please??? Another thing, If you hav'nt done so yet,Post him on the turtle forum, They're

    I'd say he was every bit of 40 lbs. Got him South of 146th street on the White. There was a smaller one with him but I couldn't get to it on time.
