Today, The Crocodile Hunter passed away. He was tapping a new episode and was swimming over a stingray, when the stingray's barbed tail peirced his heart.

Just thought I would share, for those of us that watched his show.

Man that sucks, he worked hard to promote conservation and provided a lot of thrilling and shocking programming along the way. His little girl can't be that old now, maybe 5? RIP Steve.

What a way to go, sting ray. He filmed so many dangerous shows elephants, rhinos in africa, all those venomous snakes not to mention all the crocidiles he handaled.

I really dug his show, and his animated approach to dangerous animals. I do have to say I am not suprised it was death by animal. I am surprised it was a ray though. RIP steve. Good luck on your new adventure man!!!

a very few here stated they thought he was an idiot or maybe got what he deserved, but this man was far from stupid.
he was very much into his quest to bring attention to the animals he
featured in his shows for their benifet.
he was very entertaining and i'm not quite sure how entertaining
his show would have been without his style of handleing of the animals
he brought education and did it in an entertaining way.
i feel so sorry for his children and wife .
he was a brave man and i beleive he died doing what he enjoyed best
    R.I.P. Steve
