Rigging Preference

    Saw a rig the other day that was set-up like this. From the bottom up: sinker,12" line, swivel, 12" line,dropper loop with 12" leader and hook. Seems to me unless there is a decent current the bait would hang too close to the line. Am I seeing this rig right?

    dwreel I think its called a dropshot rig used for Bass but not exclusivly you are supposed to bump the sinker on the bottom

    sounds like a 3-way rig to me. the only time i use a 3-way is in moerate to heavy current.
