Guys, I am an NC cat-beginner and was hoping to check drive up to Richomond for some weekend to see the sights and do some fishing. What is the best time of year to come up for catfishing? Anybody have any guide recommendations? Thanks a ton for any advice you could provide...adam

Adam, right now till mid may is the best time to fish. I like it when it gets a little colder but I have been catching some nice fish over the last month. Let me know if I can help you out. Tight lines.

I have been a couple of times with Mke Ostrander, James River Fishing School, (804) 938-2350. Likeable guy, knowledgeable, catches fish.
