Retying Guides for a True Friend

    I've been working on a special rod for a friend and brother of the BOC. Just thought I would post a pic of the first one completely finished to see if he finds this and if he likes it.

    WOW! thats some pretty serious equipment now, should last for a while or two.... Nice Job! Is that a double rolling runner eye guide?

    Yes it is... The rig I'm working on is an antique deep sea rig with a monster of a Penn reel on it. The rod has a wood handle and has roller guides all the way including the tip. The reel still has the original Dacron line on it.
