Yesterday, fellow BOC brother BradleyG and myself made a return trip to the TN River in hopes he would land his first TN River catfish. The first trip in Dec. was bad and I couldn't put him or BassMassey on any fish. BassMassey has since returned with me and caught a couple of big blues, and Bradley and I hoped he would get a good one this time. The weather was fantastic, but after over 4 hrs. fishin' with little current and a lot of wind, we didn't even have a fish in the boat. I was gettin' a little frustrated, but as we were winding up our poles getting ready to move, the only rod left out that wasn't hung up went down. Bradley got it and after the fight it turned out to be a 45 lb. blue, and a new PB for him. I think we were both relieved (thanks TVA for crankin' up the generation :big_smile. The fish continued to bite for a couple more hours, and we ended up catching 8 cats on a variety of cutbaits, and the water temp. was around 45 degrees. Bradley ended up catching his 2 biggest cats ever, and I got a nice 46 lber. We had a great time and a great trip, and I can't wait to get back up there. Here are a couple pics of the 2 big fish.
