Which restaurants do you guys believe serve the best catfish, or any other fish for that matter? Not talking about Long John Silvers and Red Lobster type of places. Are there any really good hole in the wall types places. I'm always looking for good food.

Our there any places local that speiciallize in making catfish?

In Wichita there is a place called "Just Catfish" its pretty good, but I still like homemade better.

Like Ray said homemade is best to me. If I havent had some for awhile, and Im in the mood, Mad Jacks in KCK makes some pretty mean catfish. Full order box, couple biscuits, fries and some hot sauce.

The Stone Wall Inn at 103rd & Pflumm in Lenexa has all you can eat catfish with sides for about $12 or $13 buck and it is gooooooood! The last time I went it was an interesting cut they were using. It wasn't belly meat or fillet, it was all loin sections and it was very tasty.

Mad Jacks is good, they have such a selection of fish it's hard for me to choose catfish(ocean perch or orange roughy). jumpin catfish is alright too, but as Keith pointed out, home fried. I am very picky about how well my catfish is cleaned and I am sure restraunts aren't as picky.
