How many of you guys are fishing the rivers with this high water? And are you catching any good fish? Just curious. I don't need specifics, just which river, and northern? Central? Southern?

I'm dying to go but don't know enough about high water to make it worth my time and effort. So for now I'll live through you guys that are catching fish. Even if it's a bank pole or nets. Thanks for any report.

Dangerous out right now. Not a time for a beginner or novice to be running the rivers. Flatheads arent hitting here yet, just finishing the spawn. Blues are hitting in the heads of scour holes and just like channels behind current breaks. Cutbait is working the best for the few that are biting. Illinois is fixing to rise more in the next few days. Sangamon is almost over the levee at Chandlerville. Might spend the rest of the summer fishing ponds and lakes. Want to get one more trip for blues and channels on the Mississippi.
