I have a chair made out of pine. On the seat portion where the seat pegs into the leg has split. Would I be able to use wood glue to resecure the 2 pieces, or will I need to use another type of adhesive? Also I have a crack on a wooden table from being exposed to rain and the elements. Would it be possible to fill that with a wood filler and sand down, or will the wood just continue to split?

Seth, do your table and chair stay outside or have you brought them inside?
