Went to Rend last night to do a little juggin and catin. We were fishing with cut bluegill and garlic shrimp caught 15 all on rod and reel drifting the main part of the lake in about 12-14 ft. of water. The jugs however, did not do so good, only got one small one, which is the complete flipside of what happened on my last outing. I guess that sometimes it just goes that way. On the upside its a very good thing there was almost a full moon, I ended up searching for jugs with just what god gave me, a bad set of eyes, since my good ole Wal-Mart spotlight ended up burning up........why do they make things so cheaply anymore?

Jerred thanks for the report. Sounds like it was a successful trip. The Walmart light was probably from China, and you can expect it not to work long.

That's why I bring Brian with me night fishing. He was made here in the gool old USA. For some reason he gets mad when I call him sunshine or when I sing "This Little Light of Mine" to him. I think he's jealous of my beautiful singing voice.....

I was supposed to be up in your neck of the woods this weekend but, Robin just started back to school...working on her masters in an accelerated program........so just didn't get the chance. Maybe sometime soon though and maybe just maybe his light will shine bright enough to get my PB on Baldwin lake...lol

Ol' Sam Walton would certainly roll over in his grave if he knew what they had done with his company. I still use and old spotlight my Grandpa used ions ago. Now days its either a low power high dollar light that you can hook up to your battery or high power rechargible that last 10 minutes per charge. It's a shame they don't make em the way they used to.
My jugging on Rend never did amount to much. A few here and there. Now on Crab.....that's a whole different story there.
