Removin the flywheel on a early an old Sears 15

    I was takin apart an old sears 15 horse that didnt run, just so i could fiddle around a little and take it apart and stuff, but i cant seem to get the flywheel off, any suggestions?

    Kevin, you will likely need a wheel puller to get it off. There should be some threaded holes around the top of the center bolt. The center bolt likely is fitted with a half moon key. Some older flywheels had a hollow top hole that was threaded, you could run a bolt down in the hole forcing the flywheel off, but that is not likely in your case. Vern
