I just wanted to know if anybody had plans for some type of rod holder I could build for my boat that I could take in and out. My boat is an aluminum bass boat, so there's a deck all the way across the back. I've got a picture in my head of the rack the way I want to build it, just pretty much a square made with 2x4's and the rod holders on top. Anybody got a good idea for holding this contraption down?? I dont want to screw or bolt it down because I need to be able to take it in and out.

    Thanks

I built my rod rack out of 1" angle and did use 2 bolts on either side to hold it on. Takes about 2 minutes to undo the bolts and take it off when I want to put the boat in the garage. I think Whistler put it in the library.

There are some great examples and ideas in the BOC library. There is a link in my Signature below to the library.

    Thanks
