Refurbished Eagle Claw

    I couldn't throw this rod out so I decided to put some new paint (krylon fusion) and some new eyes on it. I did leave some of the old writing on it though and the handles and reel seat were still in good shape so I left that too. Good practice for when I do a new rod. DSCF1350 (Small).jpg

    Awesome idea with the krylon fusion spray paint. I was just thinking about redoing a rod an this info will be used now. Many thanks,,,.

    nice work there Jay, it looks real good. looks like you've been reading flamekeepers posts by the looks of those wraps. like the mouse trap set up as well.

    Never thought of just redoing a rod. That is a great idea and an inexpensive way to learn to the trade.

    Jay , It turned out great Bro. :wink: Thats the paint , It will stay flexable and durable for a long time, Like the way you done the wrap,,did you use the amazing wrap technigue with , yellow thread and black marker?
