Who would be the all time greatest Redneck of Country Music?
To me I guess it would have to be David Allen Coe
Somehow I have always thought of Hank Williams Jr as a redneck. Don't know why.
I vote for Alan Jackson, especially when he sings that song about his mama's cookin and he mentions cornbread. He's a truck driver can't recall the name of the song!pk powell:smile2:
Well I was Drunk, the day my Mom, got out of PRISON....
that about sums it up!
Hank Jr, my final answer.
Cletus T Judd...................LMAO!
Heres another vote for David Allen Coe.
David Allen Cole/Alan Jackson.
Hey, PK. That song'd be, "Where I Come From" But he's also got that one out, "It's alright to be a redneck" (got 'er downloaded:big_smile Which kinda almost puts his name on the, "Country Music Hall of Fame Award"(the mullet helps a little too..LOL) .......BUT.....there is a country singer that ain't been around but a few years and is already in hot persuit of Jackson's title....Gretchen Wilson with her hit, "Redneck Woman." Personally, Alan Jackson is one of my ALL TIME favorite country musicians, but I still can't decide which one deserves it the most... Just my "proffesional" opinion..
Brad Paisley, "Well I love her, but I love to fish." the song Im gonna miss her is a dead giveaway for him! lol
heres another one for david allen cole:big_smile:
I think I'd have to vote for Hank Jr. Anyone nik named Bocephus...... And the song Family Tradition comes to mind.
My personal opinion hank jr is a wantabe his dad thats a differant story:smile2:
