Anybody wear these, Im looking at the 16" rubber 400gram thinsulate rubber boots. Id be using these for deer hunting, is the 400 grams enough for 10-20 degree weather. They are going to be on sale next week and I have a gift card with their name on it. Either that or one of those hunting fanny packs.

400 Gram can be a bit thin for really cold weather. I match my boots up with some thick wool socks and they keep me warm in the coldest weather.

Ive had a pair of 1000 gram boots and they were too heavy and didnt seem to keep me any warmer than a regular pair of work boots. I plan on getting these and a pair of redhead lifetime socks. Heard good things about both of them. What boots are you wearing, Im guessing it gets colder up there than it does here.
