The Red at Grand Forks is rockin to say the least. The fish are in the pre-spawn feeding frenzy. They are running the faster water break lines with only one thing on their mind, EATING.

We were fishing with cut sucker along the steep drops. Good numbers of healthy fish being caught ranging from 2-17 pounds.

If you are thinking of fishing the Red River I recommend getting here soon while this wild bite is on.

Great report there Brad. Got the boat out and I'm ready. Ran the river up about six or seven miles and there are a few great looking spots this spring. Water temps are right at 50 so its only going to improve from here on out. Ye ha I can feel my black and blue mark starting already
