    ive got a trip planned for june,some of my buddies from gulf shores said they are catching them like crazy. they said sheepshead are biting too

    Haven't caught any since November, but I really haven't fished much from them since the left the creeks and I don't have a boat to get to them. After I get my yak though, they'll be more readily accessable. They catch them here, year 'round.

    What's a redfish? Saltwater? Red Snapper? Drum? Good eating?

    its the fish in my avatar. it is an inshore saltwater fish.they are the best inshore sport fish there is...its not a snapper its a red drum..they are good eating when they are grilled.

    +1 I love to eat Reds. One of the hardest fighting fish out there. Hook into a bull red and you have a fight on your hands.
