Well guys after a long heated discussion my fiance has talked me into getting a bigger hunting\cat rig. So if anyone is interested its for sale on the site or feel free to contact me. We are looking into getting a 18-20 foot jon and not real sure on what kind. As of now I'm kind of leaning towards the new lowe roughnecks. Plan on buying new so does anyone have any pros or cons about the new roughnecks or even older model lowes. Only owned polar kraft my whole life. Thanks

I'm leaning more towards the 1860 but not ruling out the 20 footer.

Travis: I have a model R1860VDSD 04. All the boat you need to fish two people. It's solid no rack to it. 75hp. ETEC. At my age if I get a different boat it would have high sides so I don't trip over my own feet and fall out. LOL

that's actually what I think I'm going to end up getting is the R1860. Seems like a well built boat.

I have a 2006 Roughneck 1760MT that I really like! The newer roughnecks are are not the modified v . I am happy with mine!

Well I got my new boat ordered. Decided to go with a new roughneck 1860 said its going to be 6-8 weeks until it comes in! That's a long time for a catfisherman who relies on his boat
