I am as well...at times but usually feel like crap after because it is just not natural for me to be this way, very heavy hearted and think all is good in this world...This woman is ruthless and heartless and only has herself she thinks of...
Thank You all for your support here...This BOC Family has really made me believe the world is still good...You all really make me feel like family...I have asked for a BOC Sticker to put on my Truck for Christmas and if you ever see me and need anything just know I will help and be there if at all possible...
Paul I am VERY Sorry to hear this News.It seems like alot of companies could care less about there employs any More. Now I'm sort of a Vindictive Person at times,So this is My Christmas Wish,I Hope The OLD Douche Bag that Laid You Off Gets Canned Also.J.D.:sad2:
I am truly sorry to hear about this. I too lost my job this year and it has made it a very difficult year for my family, in many different ways other than just financial. To have it happen right before Christmas, I can't even imagine. Just remember, when God closes one door, he opens another one. I will be praying for you and your family, please let us know when you get another job.
Paul,
Sorry about your loss. We hope and pray all will turn out well for you and your family. I have never been in your situation, but I could just imagine how it must feel.
What dont kill you will only make you stronger "hang tough brother and keep that head up.I am sorry to hear this cause there is nothing worse in the world than being kicked when your down. "GOD BLESS!"
Paul,
I too am very sorry to hear this news brother. I am praying that God has closed this door on you so that you might be able to see another door that He has opened for you that will lead you to an even greater blessing! Please stay strong and faithfull and try to enjoy your holiday season.
Thanks everyone for the kind words...I just hope that the door that closed was not slammed if ya know what I mean...I am a very opinionated person and bitting my tongue is not my strong point...
So I hope decisions on those new open doors are the correct ones made with a clear head...
Bless you all and I will try my best to keep the faith...Thanks again for the kind words and prayers...
Sorry to hear about your job. I just don't understand were we are going as a society, to fire people before christmas is just mind boggling. All the luck to you in finding work.
Paul, Im sorry to hear of your job loss. It does hurt at this time of year especially to suffer a loss of pay no matter how small or large it is. I hope with all the years you have behind you in experience, you happen to find something soon. My prayers are with you and your family. May you have a blessed Christmas even tho things are tight, just remember, its not about the gifts we give and get, its about the birth of Christ and all the love and blessings that come with it. Be well and be happy.
I want to Thank each and everyone of you as I firmly believe group prayer helps...Here is an update so far on this...
Well I have already had 2 interviews...The one job, I am really considering and just need to work out some details...It is in Chicago at a Plastics Firm...AOKI Laboratory America...30-40% travel and another 10% Travel to family home from Chicago home...
No Weekend work unless in an other state on travel...Seems to be a very good opportunity...Hopefully things work out with this job and I can get that stress off my back...The only Draw back is that it is a Japanese Company with myself being the only American employee in this facility...I would be hired for my technical ability and my communication between the company and its American Customers as their English is very broken and sometimes mis-understood. I wish everyone a Happy and Prosperous New Year and keep me in your prayers as this will be some very trying times...Pray that I make the right decisions over the next few months...
Wife and the Kids are doing well through this just very busy with these holidays and all...My daughter watched my nephew from Christmas day until this past Saturday and he is a handful at 5 years old...Very busy child...We are not used to a little kid in the home any more...
Sorry to hear about your job loss! I am also glad to see you have had a promising interview! I wish you the best of luck. Just remember to keep your head up better things will come. My prayers go out to you and yours.
After New management within company recent manager decided to terminate employment after 13 years of dedicated service...Decreased work and higher paid employee = termination
please pray for me and my family
What a lovely Christmas Gift:sad2::embarassed::embarassed::sad2:
First Time I have ever been terminated from a job and just not sure how to handle it...Very painful...
I could have probably taken it better if She the Plant Mgr would have done it after Christmas...What a Heartless Woman
Hey Paul, I am sorry to hear that. The timing is terrible. I'm a maintenance tech. too, and we are seeing a shortage of guys that can do the job here in NC. I just "talked to The Man" for you, and I'm sure there are a lot of others who have allready done the same. I know He will take care of y'all. Have Faith Brother,

sorry for the loss Paul, i wish you and your family a good start for next year
being a Union truck driver i learned one thing about the working industry that
we are a dime a dozen. and that goes for any job too. so with that in mind, keep family close as well as loved ones, keep your head up and remember, companies need you more than you need them, there will always be another job with your name on it... good luck
I just wanted to Thank everyone again for all the support and prayers...
As of today I have been offered a Job with another plastics company,I have secured an awesome contract and I am going to go on Thursday and Sign it...Only issue is that it is approx. 4 hrs from my family home...So I will have to manage 2 homes...
There is several things that have to be done in order for me to manage this...
I have to secure a seperate vehicle, rent or buy a place for Monday - Thursday stays closer to Plastics Firm... However I will only be at this location 50 - 60 % of the time as several days will be spent in travel...The rest will be spent at family home and fishing...
So far I have the car purchased and now come the hard part in securing a second place to live...
Thank You all again and just keep me in your prayers...
sounds like you got a couple of nice offers fairly quick ! thats a good thing
on your delima on maintaining two residances what about a small travel trailer or small motor home?
just a thought . my sister and her husband travel to california texas utah all over doing road resurfaceing . they have a small motor home they live out of and love it. they pull a little 4 banger s-10 behind it to use to get to and from motorhome to site . its cheap and easy to pull up and go when ready .
you could also use it to camp with and pull a boat !!!!!!!!!!!!
glad you found something way to go man
by the way you said she was a heartless woman
you sure you didnt mean something else????
you carelessly used the word woman shame on you:roll_eyes:
That is a great idea brother...I have 45 days of housing paid for by the company...So I am going to weigh out all the options and this is a very good idea...What I am looking at is a small trailer in a community park similar to a Camp Ground with several amenities gated community, beach, and club house with a pool, only thing here is park fee's that weigh in...4 lakes(Hawk,Dinosaur,Big Shadow and Little Shadow) and 3 river near by(The Kankakee,Illinois, and Des Plains River) all 3 great Cat fishing rivers...
All of these lakes are on site and the rivers are all 15mins to 30mins away...
Seems like an easy decision but going to try and take my time and make the best choice...
Brother I sure hope you get to make it to the Rend Lake Gathering, I look forward to meeting you and your family...

Paul,
Man I'm glad your prayers were answered and that you didnt have to go long without a job. How about an update on your new job? Did you find a place to camp when you are away from home? Hope all is well.
