When I got home this afternoon, I actually had time to put the muffs on my old 35hp Evinrude and see it she would start. I had already charged my batteries and all I needed to do was make sure the motor would start. I was hoping all would go well. I hooked up the gas tank, pumped the carb full of fuel, turned on the water and made sure I had a good flow to the lower unit, pulled the choke and hit the key. The old Evinrude truned over about two rounds and fired up. Ran smooth as a kitten purring. Water pump pumped a good strong stream of water. Now all I need to do is find time to put it in the river and chase a few Cats!!!
