Judy and I headed down to the Re-diversion again Saturday night to try the Full Moon bite. When we got there they were pulling water like crazy, couldn't keep the 4oz storm weights still, so fished just a couple of rods untill 11pm when the water shut off. Set up all the rods after 11 with cut perch and bream. Wasn't a wide open nite but we managed 5 or 6, with the largest being a 12lb Blue. Beautiful nite though with the full moon and a light breeze.

I would take some stink bait with me in mid summer and set a few rods up for channels, you can normally have a lot of fun with the channels and an occasional blue. Also set rods out with cut or live bait at the same time, because you can still catch nice blues they are just harder to find in the summer months there.
