Fish per hour --- I went 1 to 5.
Ratman, you logged some serious time, what's the final tally??
The Cuz Craft over the last two outings is
3 to 20 :embarassed:
Yup thats Three Fish for 20 hours of soaked baits.
Yesterday we had 8 rods soaking and managed Punkins rat, and one lost fish halfway to the boat.
So does that mean we are 3.5 to 20 ?:smile2:
That's some miserable fishing. Hope things improve soon...W
Holy crap! I don't want to think about it!!:angry::angry:
Let me tell ya something...these past two weeks of fishing, for a $50 gift card and major bragging right , have been very costly! The first trip out I lost my brand new $300 stainless steel prop to the depths of the Mississippi! didn't hit a thing either, best I can tell, the washer that between the castle cut and the prop, broke, therefore allowing the prop to simply fall off! Didn't log much fishing time that day!
Second day, this last sunday, spent about 6 hours.
Third day, a good 8 hours with 2 dinks
Fourth day, 8 hours, freezing cold 1 dink
Fifth day, lost an $80 Surge Elite, $86 dollar Abu Garcia 7000i spooled with approximately 300 yards of 80lb powerpro $30
So, those three fish, with a total combined weight of around 17 pounds , have cost me close to $500 bones, not to mention about $50 dollars in gas and oil!
My wife is suggesting I call it quits for a while.....I think she maybe on to something!:embarassed:
Set the hook next time Alice!!!! :smile2::smile2::smile2::smile2:
I hate to say it but I agree  We have had the worst luck and I still can't feel the little finger on my right hand.
Ratman, mucho kudos for getting out there. That's some serious hours.
No one can say I didn't try, that's for damn sure! I covered alot of water, on two rivers for cryin' out loud! Just couldn't make it happen....Oh well, I guess I was due for a good skunkin', especially after the summer I had!!:smile2::smile2:
Did you ever find the fish? Or did you just not find biting fish?
I had a hard time finding fish, the fish I did find I believe were asains with a few small catfish under them. I never did find a big school of fish that I thought to be cats. I just don't think the cats are in our stretches of river right now for some reason....I had a hellova time finding anything.
Me and a friend fished about 5 hours yesterday on the MO. R. cught 6 channels one throw back and 5 eaters 2- 6lbs. No blues.
Rat, you must be bad luck or something. I think the last time I went fishing with you, my truck got broken into, my girlfriend dumped me, and my transmission blew up within 24 hrs.oooh: LoL! Just kidding, buddy. :smile2:This isn't the first time a rod has flew in the water on the Cuz craft though. That sucks for sure!
Nope, it would be the third. :smile2:
One, a fish ripped in.
Two, a mad cuz through in
Three, Rats Rod fell in
# 3 --and poor jackman got the blame for that, he is sooooo misunderstood
